C/R: Chief, Queen Demands Mfantseman MCE Sacked From Assembly Over Distasteful Attitude* Nana Gyan Ankwanda Vll, Chief of Saltpond Akyemfo in the Mfantseman Municipality in the Central Region together with his Guantuahemaa, Nana Ama Takyiwaa II have called on president Akufo-Addo to discharge the assembly's Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Ike Lord Ennu off his duty over his unpleasant attitude exhibited towards chiefs and queens of the area. The Mfantseman MCE who recently made the news following natives resented allegation against him of possessing an unbearable behaviour, equally saw market Queen Mothers of Saltpond Akyemfo threaten a naked demonstration against him few days back. 3 SHS students Drown at Daboase

  3 FORM ONE STUDENTS OF DABOASE SENIOR HIGH TECHNICAL SCHOOL DROWN IN RIVER SUBRI IN THE WASSA EAST DISTRICT* The sad report from the Daboase Senior High Technical School in the Wassa East district of western region suggests that three male form one boarding students who are offering Technical Course have been drown in River Subri. The sad incident happened yesterday around 4:00pm. The media spoke with the District Chief Executive of Wassa East district Hon. Emmanuel Boakye who explained that, the boys numbering 7 left the school without the knowledge of the school authorities to swim in River Subri which is heavily flooded due to the recent continues downpours where three of them were drown. Wassa Ateiku 100 people rendered homeless

HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE RENDERED HOMELESS AT WASSA ATEIKU IN THE WASSA EAST DISTRICT DUE TO A DOWNPOUR* Hundreds of residents of Wassa Ateiku in the Wassa East district of western region have been displaced to flooding after a torrential rains which lasted for about eight hours from the morning to the evening yesterday. As a result, many buildings have either been partially or totally collapsed. Several other valuable properties such as mattresses, bags, mobile phones, televisions, fridges, huge sums of undisclosed amount of monies among other things have also been flooded away. Twifo Atti Morkwa Environmental Health Department Embarked on mass Dogs Killing

  TWIFO ATTI-MORKWA ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT EMBARKS ON MASS DOG KILLING* The Environmental Health department of the Twifo Atti-morkwa district assembly in the central region has embarked on mass dogs killing on the principal street of Twifo Praso. According to Mr. Emmanuel Forson who is the Environmental Health Officer at the Twifo Atti-morkwa district assembly, the exercise was to reduce the many roaming dogs on the streets of the district capital, Twifo Praso which poses eminent threat to human lives and vulnerable animals on the streets. He explained the most worrying behaviour of these roaming dogs that, these dogs catch and kill other animals such as sheep, goats, guinea fowls, turkey and bite people on the streets without any cause. Adding that aside the dangers that these dogs pose, they also defecate on the streets haphazardly which also can result in health issues among the populates.
