*Gold For Oil Deal Is A Catalyst For Galamsey Activities*

The decision of Nana Addo to engage in Barter Trade system exchanging Gold for Oil is a catalyst to promote illegal mining activities in the Country. Clearly, the government is given an impetus for Community Mining

Our water bodies, farmlands and the entire environment of Ghana is at threat here.

Ghana has only 2% of its  mineral resources and exploration.

At  the KPMG BUDGET REVIEW, it was sad to note that 32 million Ghanaians only have access to 2% of our total minerals currently under exploration.

So the question is who  owns the majority shares in Ghana's minerals currently under exploration.

The Gallant Cadres Of NDC believes that the presidency and the entire government officials must be exchanged for cheap oil for Ghanaians.

Although barter trading belongs to the ancient days and is a stone age mentality, if Ghana is to benefit, our natural resources should not be exchanged. Rather the government officials must be exchanged for Oil in this case. This is the only way Ghana will be better off
