Methodist School children's on Demonstrations

The Methodist school in Hemang Lower Denkira District has expressed their grievance on the on going deficating at the school premises, it is allerged that , during vacation such unscrupulous behavior will not happened unless school resumes. The school just reopened last week pending on the continues deficating which lead no alternative than to emback on indefinate strike, the students and teachers went to school the following morning and what they saw was above imagination, all the padlocks, classrooms, offices, doors, so the student has expressed their grievance to The Assembly in the District for an effective action. The Assembly member Hon. Kofi Sense with the parents have pleaded to teachers to take heart because Education is the key to every successful country and measures will be put in place to apprehend all this people. The Hon. Fight against Galamsey on River Pra: 4 Arrested, changfan machines, boats destroyed

Four persons were arrested in an exercise by the Twifo Atti Mokwa District Assembly in the Central Region in collaboration with its police command and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to clamp down on illegal mining activities on the River Pra at Twifo Praso last Tuesday. The team, led by the police and the District Chief Executive, Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi, burnt five changfan machines, five boats and seized other mining equipment being used by illegal miners on the River Pra. Study finds dangerous cancer-causing chemicals in meats cooked with burnt car tyres

A joint study by the African Centre of Excellence in Public Health and Toxicological Research (ACEPUTOR), University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, has revealed alarming levels of cancer-causing chemicals in meats singed using tyres. Published in the journal Environmental Health Insights, the study found that meats singed with tyres contain high levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), particularly a harmful chemical called Benzo[a]pyrene, which is known to increase the risk of cancer.
