MP Donates Medical Equipment To Adiyaw Community Chip Compound 



The NPP Member of Parliament for for Hemang Lower Denkyira constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Bright Wireko Brobbey has donated medical equipment running into thousands of Ghana Cedis to Adiyaw Chip Compound  to facilitate healthcare delivery in the constituency.


Presenting the items at Adiyaa on Monday, the representatives who hand over the equipments disclosed that the health needs of the people in the constituency and beyond had been the major concern of the MP that's why He has tried all He can in bringing Health care delivery to the doorsteps of Constituents in the Constituency hence the donation to augment healthcare delivery.


According to  Dr. Salifu Bawa, Health Director Hemang Lower Denkyira District, He said "It is an opened secret that the Health centre is acclaimed ' All friendly' health centre. This attracted expectant and nursing mothers to seek medical treatment for early recovery and encourage the MO to also come to their aid when the need arises.


In an interview with Mr. Kwasi Assan, He said, Government alone cannot shoulder the operational cost of health facilities dotted across the country, so it is individuals responsibility to contribute their quota in this direction. 


Nana Agyei, Odikro of Mmaniaye , assured the representatives of the MP that, the community is ever ready to offer communal labour for any project that would enhance the growth of the facility.

  *ECOLINKS Supports Twifu Atti-Morkwa District with 1000 Coalpots* The District Chief Executive for Twifu Atti-Morkwa District, Hon. Isaac K. Yawson, has revealed that the foreign-based Non-Governmental Organization, ECOLINKS, has donated 1000 gyapa coalpots to residents of five communities in the district. The communities benefiting from the initiative are Akweikrom, Akloman, Akutuase, Asamoakrom/Ongwaso, and Bimpongegya, with each community receiving 200 coalpots. According to Hon. Yawson, the primary objective of this program is to help mitigate climate change in the district, region, and country as a whole.
