COMMUNITY SHOWED BLESS ON CHIEF INSPECTOR






Detective Chief Inspector lsrael Dziwornu Gati was born in Accra to Togbe Amenyedzi Gati of blessed memory and madam Alice Amedofu all of Battor.


 Israel attended Dzemeni RC primary school. He continued to the L/A JHS in same community and then had his senior  Secondary education at PEKI all in the South Dayi District of the Volta Region.

 

In 2003 Israel was enlisted in to the Ghana police service. He passed out from Ho Police Training school with  96 others as recruits  constables on 30th August 2004.


 After graduation, Israel was posted   to Denkyira Wawase on 15th. October 2004 in theTwifo Praso District of the Central Region.


 Initially, Israel thought bringing him to  Wawase was a punishment due to the state of the  station in those days but unknown to him that it was  a blessing in disguise  to prepare him for a bigger task.  Gradually he became a criminal investigator  and in January 2009 he was confirmed as Detective by Director General CID.





 In the year 2009,  his station officer  chief Inspector Yeboah (RTD) went for Peakeeping mission in Darfur,  Sudan and as a young lance corporal at the time Israel took temporary charge of Wawase station for over a year  in addition to  his investigation duties


Israel also worked at various station within the District which includes  Twifo Mokwa, Twifo Praso and Twifo Hemang.  His passion for innovation wherever he find himself  saw a  great facelift to Twfo Hemang Police station  where a CID office was renovated with block wall to it's current status which hitherto was a  plywood detached office from the main  charge office. With the support of Inspr Nyagbenu  the entire floor of both the charge and the CID offices were fully tiled .

In addition lsrael ensured that Wawase  police station which used to be in ash colour  was also painted to meet the standard of approved traditional police colours.


He worked very diligently, and was humble to  all the traditional leaders within his area of operation and this attributes of him won him the admiration and the expectation of the traditional rulers as one of the professional public officers.


To broaden  his knowledge  Israel in the year 2009   gained admission to the University of Ghana Legon,  where he successful graduated in  2013  with first degree in Psychology with History. Also, in November,2022 he passed an entrance exams to pursue Bachelor of Laws at University of Cape coast as his dream is to become a professional lawyer in future


 While in Wawase chief Inspector Israel participated in both internal and international peacekeeping operation  such as Nkonya Alavanyo disturbances in the Volta Region operation gong-gong at Bimbilla in the northern Region,  operation come life at Kumasi and so forth.



 In  January 2018,  he was among 170 personnel of FPU deployed to United Nations( UN) Peacekeeping mission  at BENTIU ,  Unity State of the Republic of South Sudan in East Africa.

In South Sudan , Israel played a role as one of the team leaders in his platoon. He returned to Ghana on 4th. March 2019 after  one year of stay.


At Detective Training Academy course 4 in 

 2019 ,  Israel emerged as the 7th.best students out of a Total of 91 security personnel drawn from all sister security services across the country at the end of their two months course exams in Tesano Accra.


Since the inception of  Wawase police station in the year 1983, there were successive police officers however

Israel is the first of its kind at the station to run through the Rank from constable to  CHIEF INSPECTORATE rank and he is the most longest serving officer with 19yrs of service at Wawase and it's surrounding villages. 


His social behavior, humility, and approciable traits  with gifted  problem solving skills won him a lot of respect from both young and the elderly in the community.


 Israel is the 9th born of his parents.

He is married to Georgina Afful and are blessed with four children, three girls and a boy.

Speaking to some community members about 30 people we  they said they cannot count the quality of service rendered to the community and beyond.

Some said chief inspector Gati is good and they can also deduced from the service he rendered unto them and even is not his focus but helping humanity and they also asked the IGP Dr Dampare to promote chief inspector Gati

  *ECOLINKS Supports Twifu Atti-Morkwa District with 1000 Coalpots* The District Chief Executive for Twifu Atti-Morkwa District, Hon. Isaac K. Yawson, has revealed that the foreign-based Non-Governmental Organization, ECOLINKS, has donated 1000 gyapa coalpots to residents of five communities in the district. The communities benefiting from the initiative are Akweikrom, Akloman, Akutuase, Asamoakrom/Ongwaso, and Bimpongegya, with each community receiving 200 coalpots. According to Hon. Yawson, the primary objective of this program is to help mitigate climate change in the district, region, and country as a whole.
