The NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Mr. Lawrence Kwabina Agyinsam has partnered a private Consultancy Organization known as  *Teacher In A Box* to improve the Information Technology studies of the two Senior High Schools; Jukwa SHTS and Hemang SHTS in the Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency. 


Speaking to the media, the leader of the group Mr. Benjamin Quansah expressed Mr. Agyinsam's readiness to empower students and teachers in his constituency to meet the 21st century fluency requirements. 


He explained further that Teacher in a box is a huge interactive library of community and academic resources that can be accessed without Internet. Teacher in a box has a huge positive impact where there are limited teaching resources or teachers with limited training or education themselve ."

Our teacher in a box server supports self placed learning as well as classroom teaching which offers several benefits, including developing critical thinking skills, promoting innovation and creativity, and preparing students for careers in high-demand fields", Mr Quansah reiterated.

Other members of the team were the consultant, Dr. Harris Andoh and  IT consultant Mr. Richmond Obua.

On receiving the consultants on behalf of  Mr Lawrence Agyinsam includes Mr. Kofi Agyin, Black and Mr. Ernest Amo-Mensah ( for communication team).


The headmistress Mrs Dorothy Monica Mensah of Jukwa SHTS and Mrs Agnes Amoah headmistress of Hemang SHTS both couldn't hide thier joy but expressed appreciation to Mr. Agyinsam for such an initiative and was optimistic that she and her team would ensure that when the servers are delivered would be well taken care off. She also called for divine favour for selfless Agyinsam.

Fight against Galamsey on River Pra: 4 Arrested, changfan machines, boats destroyed

  Four persons were arrested in an exercise by the Twifo Atti Mokwa District Assembly in the Central Region in collaboration with its police command and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to clamp down on illegal mining activities on the River Pra at Twifo Praso last Tuesday.  The team, led by the police and the District Chief Executive, Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi, burnt five changfan machines, five boats and seized other mining equipment being used by illegal miners on the River Pra. Study finds dangerous cancer-causing chemicals in meats cooked with burnt car tyres

A joint study by the African Centre of Excellence in Public Health and Toxicological Research (ACEPUTOR), University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, has revealed alarming levels of cancer-causing chemicals in meats singed using tyres. Published in the journal Environmental Health Insights, the study found that meats singed with tyres contain high levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), particularly a harmful chemical called Benzo[a]pyrene, which is known to increase the risk of cancer.
