Daakyehene Foundation Continues Support for Education in Twifu Atti-Morkwa*
The Daakyehene Foundation has made another significant donation of educational materials to selected schools in the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District of Ghana's Central Region. The donation includes 12,000 exercise books, mathematical sets, and other stationery items, as well as sports equipment such as footballs and jerseys.
Mr. Prince Henry Ankrah, Founder and CEO of the Daakyehene Foundation, emphasized that the gesture is part of his commitment to giving back to the community that shaped him. He encouraged the beneficiary students to make good use of the items and shared his personal story of overcoming challenges through determination and perseverance.
"This isn't the first time we've done this," Mr. Ankrah noted, referencing a previous donation of 7,000 exercise books to the district's students two years ago. "The Foundation will continue to support educational and human resource development in the district," he added.
Beneficiary schools include Praso B&C, Praso Model, Nteferewaso D&C Methodist Basic School, and others within the district. Headteachers who received the items expressed gratitude for the timely donation, acknowledging the challenges some parents face in providing learning materials for their children.
Mr. Ankrah reaffirmed the Foundation's dedication to advancing education and community development, promising more initiatives to support the youth and the people of Twifu Atti-Morkwa in the near future.
