Dome Kwabenya MP Appears In Parliament

The Member of Parliament for Dome / Kwabenya Sarah Adjoa Safo stormed Parliament today for the first time, having been absent from the House for several months now and whose absence for more than fifteen sitting days from Parliament was referred to the Privileges Committee of Parliament by the Speaker Rt Hon Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin .
The Dome / Kwabenya MP sat through today’s proceedings for just about 15 to 20 minutes before the Speaker Rt Hon Alban Bagbin adjourned sitting till next week Tuesday .
When Members of the Parliamentary Press Corps interacted with Sarah Adjoa Safo briefly , she said she felt good to be back to continue her duties as a Member of Parliament and hoped the subsequent weeks in the House will be good .
Later in an interview with Nkone Tv, the MP for Cape Coast South and Minority Ranking Member on the Privileges Committee of Parliament Kweku Ricketts – Hagan commented on Hon Sarah Adjoa Safo’s coming back to Parliament .
