  The general overseer of Ossa Madi church, Bishop Charles Ankomah has made some pronouncements on the things that are going on in the country.


  According to the man of God, the economic hardship that the country is facing is not the fault of the president but a biblical prophecy.


  Again, the man of God said, he would be happy if churches that are handled by fake pastors can be closed down.


  He said most of these so-called pastors are causing more harm than good in the country and so there should be a punishment for those pastors as well.

Fight against Galamsey on River Pra: 4 Arrested, changfan machines, boats destroyed

  Four persons were arrested in an exercise by the Twifo Atti Mokwa District Assembly in the Central Region in collaboration with its police command and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to clamp down on illegal mining activities on the River Pra at Twifo Praso last Tuesday.  The team, led by the police and the District Chief Executive, Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi, burnt five changfan machines, five boats and seized other mining equipment being used by illegal miners on the River Pra. Impact This was in response to the devastating effects of their activities on the River Pra and the environment. Last week, a two-and-a-half-year-old twins, a boy and a girl, tragically lost their lives after falling into an abandoned galamsey pit full of water.   *"Don't Wait for National Sanitation Day to Clean Your Compound" - DCE Urges Assembly Members* Today marks National Sanitation Day across Ghana, an initiative by President John Dramani Mahama.
