*APPARENT COLLAPSE OF BREMAN/ MBEM BRIDGE IN THE CAPE COAST -TWIFO PRASO ROAD(KAKUM NATIONAL PARK, ABRAFO)*

The site is eyesore now. See the current state of Mbem/Breman Bridge due to rain that fell early this morning.

The Chief and people of Breman Community and it surroundings have been complaining about this bridge since last year the heavy downpour that divided Jukwa soruwi Bridge into two.

The Government and Ministry of Roads and Highways appears unconcerned regardless of the several visits to the Central Region Office of Highways Authority by the Chief, Presiding Member of the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira District who doubles as the Assembly Member of the affected communities. Not to talk of the countess fruitless visits to the District Assembly and Authorities within the Region. This said bridge, if not attended immediately and allow to collapse. IT WILL AFFECT ATTENDANCE AT THE KAKUM NATIONAL PARK, LOCATED AT *JUKWA ABRAFO, WHICH IS 3 KILOMETERS AWAY* FROM THE BRIDGE. And it reduce revenue generation to the State, reduce drastically tourists interest in the country.

THE PEOPLES WERE READY TO CLOSE THE ROAD TODAY, TUESDAY, 7TH MARCH, 2023; IN ORDER TO PREVENT DISASTER FROM OCCURRING ON THE ROAD, BUT FOR THE PROMPT INTERVENTION OF MR. LAWRENCE AGYINSAM.

On behalf of the good people of Breman/Mbem Electoral -who are immediate people to be affected the the bridge collapse - and on behalf of the entire District, and to protect life and property, should the people raise up again, my good self and the Chief, Nana kodwo Kobi ll, may not be blame or answerable to any inconveniences that may arise as a result of the people's arousal.

NOTICE IS DULY SERVED TO ALL AUTHORITIES, THE POLICE, DISEC AND ALL AND SUNDRY. We deserve better!!!
