Ladies and gentlemen of the Press, good morning to you for making time out of your busy schedules to attend to this all important press gathering to throw light on happenings within our Constituency.
We wish to assure you that the New Patriotic Party of Twifo Atti-morkwa Constituency will continue to demand for value for money audits to help the Constituency to develop and to improve standards of living.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have invited you here to let you know what the 2022 Audit report said about the Member of Parliament for Twifo Atti-morkwa Constituency, Hon T.D Vondee.
Ladies and gentlemen of the press, we followed and listened keenly to the responses of the MP when the issues and concerns of the Audit report came up.
Ladies and gentlemen of the Press, the Auditor General in its published 2022 Audit report has cited the Member of Parliament for Twifo Atti-morkwa Hon . T.D Vondee for various contraventions in the financial management regulations and the public financial management act.
Below are the excerps from the Auditor General's report:
Relative to Payment Vouchers not acquitted, the reported stated that Ghc60, 000 was not acquitted.

Further review of the Twifo Atti-morkwa Education Directorate revealed that an amount of Ghc60, 000 disbursed with PV. No. 1/07/22 for various activities and services on behalf of the MP was not accounted for with expenditure receipts.
Again, with expenditure with undisclosed beneficiaries, the Auditor General report stated that Ghc80,000 was spent but with no beneficiary list attached.
The Audit report uncovered that an amount of Ghc80, 000 was used to purchase items for distribution but no distribution list was attached for verification.
Payment into Member of Parliament Personal account- Ghc195, 000.
The Twifo Atti-morkwa District Education Directorate Account received an amount of Ghc 195,000 from the Special Initiative Fund and to be used for renovation of some selected Basic and Senior High schools and this money was repaid into the Personal Account of the MP at the GCB Bank,High Street branch.
The report further uncovered that, as at September 2022 there has not been any renovation works carried out.
The NPP Followed-up on the purported School renovations and no such renovation as claimed by the MP has been carried out.
Ladies and gentlemen of the Press, the NDC in this Constituency led by Honourable Vondee have shortchanged and disappointed the good people of Twifo Atti Morkwa.
How on earth can one be so wicked to the point of not renovating schools but yet money for such projects have been squandered?
This is unthinkable. This is a trait of the NDC and this is wickedness of the highest order.
The good people of Twifo Atti-Morkwa will not sit down unconcerned for such broad day thievery to go on unaccounted for.
We are wide awake and we will do everything possible to support the Auditor General to demand refund with interest for these funds spent on ghost schools.

The underlisted schools were visited by the NPP and to our amazement, not a single school has been renovated by the MP.
1. Aboso D/A basic school
2. Kenkuase D/A basic school 3. Aklomam (34) D/A basic
4. Tongo D/A basic school
5. Tweapease D/A basic school 6. Ashire M. E Zion basic
