*Twifo Dokodoko Community Demands Action on Persistent Network Issues*
Chiefs, elders, and residents of Twifo Dokodoko in the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region are urgently appealing to their Member of Parliament, Hon. T.D. Vondee, and District Chief Executive, Hon. Isaac Yawson, to fulfil promises regarding long-standing network connectivity problems plaguing their community. The residents describe the situation as "out of hand" and a significant impediment to their daily lives and economic development.
According to community members, the lack of reliable mobile network coverage forces them to undertake arduous journeys of over six miles to Twifo Praso to access mobile money services. Those unable to walk face the additional burden of hiring an "okada" (motorcycle taxi) at a cost of 50 cedis simply to connect to the network.
The dire situation has severely hampered the community's economic growth, as residents are cut off from essential digital services. Many are forced to climb trees in a desperate attempt to find a signal.
